magadheera doesn’t need dad’s help to pull the audience towards the theaters this time. unlike chirutha, which did all the box office collections only in the first week, magadheera definitely is a blockbuster. When it comes to the box
office collections, the “house full” board is here to stay for quite sometime even after the initial few weeks.rajamouli’s magadheera to charan is as to simhadri to jr.ntr. charan improved a lot compared to his debut movie in almost all the aspects like his diction,dance,dialogue delivery and his overall performance is good (ofcourse, the credit goes to rajamouli here). there is a freshness in the screenplay and taking but, somehow I can’t help myself comparing it with arundhathi. The similarities being that both are period films revolving around the princess and the rebirth concept.The opening sequence and the way the director blended it into the second half is good.but, then again it was in the same manner as showed in arundhathi.the similarities end here. the special effects and the grandeur is definitely incomparable, only possible for a big banner like geetha arts. the surprise package of the film was the last song with all the technicians , cast and crew. here again its a copy of om shanthi om , but something unique for a telugu film.the opening sequence is good. i liked the way the director blended the past and the present during charan’s free fall from the helicopter.kajal is very pretty and her styling by rama rajamouli is amazing. rama dressed her up just right for the role of indu.songs can be rated from excellent to poor in the same order as they appear in the movie with bangaru kodi petta being the best and the kim sharma’s being the worst.the background score is just average.It could have been better at few scenes which created a huge impact thru the special effects. yeah, and as somebody pointed out to me today, the movie completely revolves around the hero and the herione. there are hardly any scenes or frames without charan and/or kajal.
so magadheera is a “don’t miss” category and is here to win a few filmfare and nandi awards this time.

I will not say prayanam is a brilliant movie from Chandrasekhar Yeleti,
but it is definitely better than its contemparires like kick and kavya’s
dairy. It is a slow paced movie but,i liked it somehow.It is a love at
first sight,falling in love,flirting,meeting,fighting,departing,reuniting
all in a 2 hour 10 mins movie (which is not new to tollywood movies) and
inside an airport. A few scenes were done over than necessary. Brahma
nandam’s comedy is not quite enjoyable. I like manoj’s friends in the
movie.looks like manoj improved his acting skills by leaps and
bounds.debutante haarika was good looking. Its a director’s baby and
Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s brand.quite enjoyable if u like those mushy mushy
romantic love stories.
verdict: nice, you can try it once.

kavya’s dairy is one dull ,boring,junk movie.I caught glimpses of yesteryears khalnayika charmee doing the role of anu agarwal in the
movie.well, there is nothing much to say or see in the movie. it is
manjula’s happy shattered into pieces by charmee who seeks
vengeance.Charmee lost her family because of manjula and hence wants to
oust her from majula’s own family and take her place.The movie is very
slow paced with routine and mundane dialogues and story line.Shashank
looks his worst in his fully grown beard like a looser.herez a piece of
advice for shashank,dude, u r handsome! y r u spoiling your career and
looks by doing such good for nothing experiments? manjula was very very
aunty type and fitted the role minus her over action at few places.except
for charmee and her acting in negative role therez nothing to watch out
for in the movie.The cliche screenplay and terrible music n songs add to
the woes.The second half is a bit fast paced with charmee revealing her
negative side.
Verdict: don’t waste on your valuable money on such a damp quib.You can
wait to catch up on this one on Gemini,Maa or Zee telugu

wow!! today i watched this mindblowing movie called angels and
demons.every aspect of this this movie is brilliant.I did not read the
actual book,so I cannot compare it that way.But, the story all the
exciting twists and turns qualifying for a suspense thriller.Tom hanks
was great as the professor langdon and so is victoria.The movie exposes a few of the dark secrets of the vatican city and brings up the debate about
religion and science. The scientists create anti-matter and it is stolen
by the “bad guys”.The church receives a threat that the entire vatican
city would be exploded by midnight.In the process professor introduces us
to the terms of illuminati,branding,the five elements of earth,water,air,fire and the mysterious fifth element.The whole story is about detonating the anti matter particles and unraveling the mystery of the real bad guy.
Verdict:Go watch it for the plot,magnificence and grandeur and yes,tom
hanks too.Don’t miss this one.

kick was just yuk. :X i did not like it at all except for a few bits and pieces
scattered here n there in the movie.gross comedy and worst performance
from ravi teja.i did not enjoy the comedy tracks of brahmanandam and a fat
police inspector,over exposing by illeana,double meaning dialogues and
double entrandae like 18 saarlu koskuni,inka nayam jutte peekadu etc etc
it was very vulgar and cheap.whoever suggested me to watch this damn
bloody bull shit kick i just wanna go and kick them hard in their _____ thanks
to the movie for my language.a few scenes do deserve mention like the conversation between sayaji shinde and illeana where in illeana looks like she dressed just to seduce his father and his father says tht his son should not have the dissatisfaction he had been having all these years by not being able to do what he likes.the being happy and doing wht u like part and helping the kids.the kid looked just like a copy cat of sexy in cheeni kum with same action and accent.ravi teja’s thief role was ok atleast trying to sustain some interest in the second half in an otherwise cliche movie.ravi teja was looking very old and yes, the twist on dec 16th was good..although i expected it
verdict: nothing new to offer..waste of time and money

today i watched dev-d.it was damn cheap and vulgar stuff.i did not like it a
bit.a very modern,urban cosmopolitan version of the dev and paro evergreen luv story or wht should i call it? i thought lenni as chanda and her story were a bit emotional and touching.rest of it was just crap.i was not able to sit thru the movie! thank god i did not make a mistake of my life by gng to the theater for such cheap stuff.and the songs and taking were pathetic.especially, the tauba tera dash tauba something, yeh emotional athyachar? wherez the athyachar damn? only sheer tourture for the audience 
abhay deol’s performance was also lacklusture.y did he choose such a script??
verdict: u can happily miss this one..don’t care abt the critics acclaim and
stuff

Love-power-revolution is very apt for this movie.I watched this extrememly absorbing and griping movie called Gulal.mindblowing stuff by anurag kashyap.A master peice of different cinema,meaninful cinema showing high profile passion crime.The story revolves around rajputa dream, to bring down the democracy and to build an empire of autocracy…the rajputs in this film live with a feeling of being robbed from their power,wealth and their kingdom. Dukey bana palyed by kay kay menon is one of the central characters.He is the senapati who wants to lead the revolution.All the characters all the ladies and gents gave power packed peformances..very commendable to the new comer’s play such powerful roles with ease. this film is nothing but power play and the struggle to gain an upper hand over others. its truly classic stuff and very close to reality. dilip is a seedha saadha,timid,shy ordinary guy who joins a college as a student but ends up as a general secretrary.he becomes a roomie with rajsa. his highness has two children vijay bana and daughter kiran whom he cannot accept them as his legal heir as they are due to illegitimate relation.the plot is very intriguing and interesting.kiran plays a bitch who can go to any extent to fulfil her dreams and to obtain the power. anuja is another strong and bold character . madhuri as a mujra dancer also gives commendable performance. watch this movie for the extreemely exciting twists and turns of the plot and power play. finally vijay and kiran become the all pervading power due to mindless act of dilip ..of course who is blinded by kiran’s love.dukey bana,rajsa,dilip everyone is dead as the plot slowly unravels.there are a few disturbing ragging scenes which are to be avoided,but u can’t avoid the reality .can u ?
I rate this movie as a “must watch , if u enjoy watching meaningful and different cinema”
4.5 stars on 5 !
